Do Your Part, Be Cyber Smart
October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM), a collaborative effort between government and industry to raise awareness about cybersecurity and to ensure that all Americans have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online.
The theme of NCSAM 2020, “Do Your Part, #BeCyberSmart,” empowers both individuals and organizations to own their role in protecting their part of cyberspace.
The message, “If you connect it, protect it,” suggests that if everyone does their part, from implementing good security practices and raising awareness in the community to educating those who may be vulnerable or uninformed, our interconnected world will be safer for everyone.
Cybersecurity is everyone’s job. Let’s put the we in cybersecurity.
